About Community Ministries
Rev. Judi Painter is the founder of Community Ministries. Her calling is to enable joy, remove fear and build confidence, all in a community setting.
Community Ministries outreach occurs at the “street” level, meeting in places such as local eateries, libraries, YMCAs and other public spaces.
Rev. Painter adheres to the guidelines of the Third Order Franciscans, specifically to “check myself to eliminate ego issues, selfishness and my need for approval, to be able to meet people where they are, with a clear mind and heart.”
Community Ministries is an Interfaith Christian ministry, not affiliated with any particular church but acknowledging Jesus Christ as The Lord and practicing under God’s guidance.
Rev. Judi at Community Ministries is dedicated to those she serves. Her goal is to meet everyone at their point of need and to build community for all with God’s love.
